An Alice-in-Wonderland-Inspired Easter Tea Party Setup

Most of us are having an intimate Easter celebration in the comfort and safety of our own homes. Take this unique chance to create something magical with your children in their room that the whole family can enjoy. Prepare a whole Easter program with games and even Zoom or Facetime with grandparents, friends and playmates using a lovely Easter setting as your backdrop that’s sure to bring on the smiles.

For this Easter Tea Party set-up, we drew inspiration from Alice in Wonderland and gave it our own spin. The design process begins with choosing colorways that delight and are iconic to this wonderful tale and these are light blue, white and pink with gold as an accent color. We chose definitive pieces that would clearly reflect the colorways like the Dreamy Canopy, our new Butterfly Chair, Clip Stool and Table, Bunny Library and Dreamy Chandeliers and built a tea party setting around these items.

We created different areas of interest in this Easter Tea Party setting. First is a nook with the Dreamy Canopy in Light Blue with a White Pom Garland and our Butterfly Chair, Clip Stool and Table. You can certainly put any of your little furniture in the house here instead. We invited some tea party guests as well and you can see our Café Delice characters – Mr. Bear, Senor Stag, Lady Doe, Ms. Unicorn and Puppy Jr. Kids can invite as many of their cuddle buddies to this little party!

For our customary “long party table” we used the bottom part of our playhouse bed frame and covered it with a nice blanket. We spiced up our table with an assortment of little plates, cups, cake stand we can find in our cupboard, our children’s wooden toys and added bunches of our Mini Pom-pom Garlands as fun table accents.

We threw in our star cushions on top of our regular cushions to make our seats more comfortable for everybody. You can also see that we added three of our Dreamy Chandeliers to hang nicely over the table.

We hope that this inspires you as you prepare for Easter at home. The spirit of Easter encourages hope and we are one in believing that children should be able to enjoy this meaningful celebration with you in countless ways.

Be inspired and stay safe!
